How much will it cost?
We understand that you need to know how much it will cost for us to represent you. We provide you with clear information about our legal costs so there are no surprises.
Your first consultation with me is free. During this free consultation I will ask you to tell me about the legal problem you have and I will give you some initial advice to help you proceed. Following this I will invite you to our office for a meeting (unless you are in custody or it is otherwise impractical to do so). This meeting is charged at a flat rate which I will advise you of in our first consultation and we ask that you pay for it at the end of the meeting.
If after this meeting you would like to proceed further we can usually provide a fixed price quote for our legal work. Where we cannot initially foresee how much work will be required we will provide you with a range of estimates with an explanation as to what may affect the estimated legal costs. Once it becomes clear how much work will be needed we will then provide you with a fixed price quote for the amount needed to represent you.
